Having an Armenian family meant that evil eye charms adorned everything we owned and used, to protect the family from harm borne by jealousy. I wanted to explore that idea in sound quality, one of my other nerdy interests. Here, the jealous, swarming mp3s can do nothing to harm the phonograph, who's knows its warm auditory qualities can never be fully imitated digitally.
